National Volunteer For REALTOR® Association Service Month
August has been named "National Volunteer For REALTOR® Association Service Month"
by the National Association of Independent Real Estate Brokers.
NAIREB encourages Independent Real Estate Brokers to get involve in the National Association of REALTORS®, by volunteering to serve at every level. August was selected for this event because, during this month, many boards of REALTORS® begin to look for new volunteers to serve the association for the upcoming year.
Independent Real Estate Brokers can start by serving on the local Board of REALTORS'® committees or Division's of the local board. They should also consider volunteering to service as Officers at some level in their local Board.
As Independent Real Estate Brokers continue to serve at the local Board of REALTORS®, additional opportunities to serve will arise at higher level in the state board of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.

NAIREB encourages Independent Real Estate Brokers to focus on continuing education during November. First, by attending continuing education classes to build personal professional development. And second by becoming a Continuing Education Instructor to share insights on service & success with others. Independent Real Estate Brokers are asked to contact their State Real Estate Commission for details on becoming a Continuing Education Instructor.
